Liz Rhoda
Hello! Nice to meet you 👋 I have been practicing real estate for nine years, during which I have accumulated extensive knowledge and experience by assisting both buyers and sellers. I take pleasure in understanding my clients' unique situations and becoming a dedicated advocate in helping them achieve their goals, no matter what they may be! In 2023, I decided to take things to the next level by obtaining a broker license and start my own brokerage, Liz Rhoda & Co. This allows me even more control over my business and the ability to “keep things local” rather than charge/pay fees required by national or regional brokerages.
While I devote much of my time to serving my clients, I have also actively participated in or led various real estate industry organizations, including the Women's Council of Realtors and the Young Professional Network, both locally and statewide. I have been honored with several awards for real estate and leadership throughout West Michigan. However, since starting a family, I have chosen to step back from many of these commitments to prioritize my roles as a real estate agent, wife, and mother.
Achievements:
-
2022: Ranked in the Top 2% for Sales Volume among all Realtors in West Michigan
-
2021, 2022, 2023: Member of the GRAR Grievance Committee
-
Former Chair of the Michigan Realtors Young Professionals Network
-
Former President of the West Michigan Women's Council of Realtors
Beyond my work in real estate, I also own Rockford Tree Farm, a Christmas tree farm, founded the Rockford Women in Business Group, and engage in photography location scouting for various companies in West Michigan.
What Makes Me Different
01
I listen.
A common misconception is that Realtors need to be overpowering personalities and aggressive negotiators. I disagree. While those qualities can be useful at times, listening and knowing when to speak up is the key to providing quality service as well as successful negotiation.
03
I want to work with people I like
Don't you? Making sure we are a good fit for each other is crucial to establishing trust between us, and it goes both ways. If we don't genuinely like and respect each other, it could be a rough road ahead.
02
I prioritize your experience.
Not my sales numbers. I want you to accomplish your goal, but if we were miserable getting there, was it really a win? I would rather provide you with my attention and commitment and turn you into a client for a lifetime than just make it to the closing table.
04
I know what I am doing.
No real estate sale is the same. As a result, I've become extremely resourceful and an expert problem solver. If I can't figure it out, I have well-respected and accessible contacts and several partners in the industry and community to get the answers and support I need.
